The July drought and wet August must have confused them. It is a pass-along plant from a neighbor. I've been lucky to have it for about 10 years.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07472642679947517392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31428116.post-62571736969226777692011-09-18T20:29:25.560-05:002011-09-18T20:29:25.560-05:00Yes, I think it would be lovely to plan your ideal...Yes, I think it would be lovely to plan your ideal virtual garden over the dreary winter months based on Bloom Day posts. It's an updated version of poring over the seed catalogs!

I inherited a lovely bright red hardy hibiscus when I moved into my current home 8 years ago. For the past two years, though, I have seen no sign of it, so I fear it finally gave up the ghost. It's in a bed overgrown with rudbeckia, so perhaps it just could not compete and get enough light or nutrients.

Your flowers are beautiful now, and I'll bet you'll still have some lovely things to show us in October! Perhaps that anemone!Kimberleyhttp://cosmosandcleome.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31428116.post-87821975977655195662011-09-15T18:49:43.429-05:002011-09-15T18:49:43.429-05:00Scott,
