I hope the hummingbirds find them.

Yellow evening primrose is Oenothera flava. More information here http://www.gpnc.org/evening.htm
I don't know if it's as invasive as the pink but it seems as if it will spread. My (Oenothera speciosa ‘Siskiyou’)plants give me fits since they come up in the middle of everything.

I'll have to remember to post my opinion of 'Dan's Favorite'. I'm enjoying the fresh lettuce too.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07472642679947517392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31428116.post-38043602522328098512010-06-10T06:44:40.797-05:002010-06-10T06:44:40.797-05:00Tatyana,

They don't transplant well so I'm glad they are in a good place and can grow where they are. When I plant seeds I do it in December. I sprinkle them on the ground. I'm not sure how they would do in your climat but I'll be glad to send seeds to you to try. Send me an email and I'll mail seeds in late summer.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07472642679947517392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31428116.post-37374397012059894482010-06-10T06:15:24.219-05:002010-06-10T06:15:24.219-05:00Hi Marie. Snapdragons are one of my favorites to plant in pots, but I haven't gotten around to it yet this year and I think the hummingbirds are annoyed with me.

About a month ago I bought some perennials at a neighborhood plant sale and I think one of them is Evening Primrose, but it's yellow. Is that possible?

Phillip and I planted leaf lettuce in a container and ate some for lunch last weekend.

I hope Dan's Favorite turns out to be Marie's Favorite.

donnadonnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06950476333013336671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31428116.post-25923940381846653522010-06-10T00:29:46.357-05:002010-06-10T00:29:46.357-05:00Very Beautiful.
