Next Year

Computer problems are giving me fits. I hope to have it fixed in a few days.

In the meantime, what new plants are you planning for your garden next year?

I am sorry you are having computer problems. They are never fun, and always frustrating.

Bulbs! That is what is uppermost in my mind for next year. I have one large bed that I am constructing that is going to be loaded with tulips.

I love bulbs. When I see a daffodil, crocus, hyacinth or tulip bloom in spring, I celebrate the end of winter. A large bed of tulips will be awesome!

Last week, I finally planted the perennials that I bought in July --
Day Lily 'Canadian Border Patrol', two Asiatic Lilies 'Sunny After Eight' and 'Tom Pouce'. Also a Gentiana 'True Blue'. Put more hyacinths, crocuses and daffodils in the ground, too.

Is the pretty mum in the photo yours? I enlarged it and it took my breath away.

Donna,

I love the lillies - 'specially the 'Tom Pouce'. The Gentiana 'True Blue' is amazing. Thank you for feeding my plant lust! I had to google all those plants. Sounds like you had a busy fall!

The mum picture is a beauty from Longwood Gardens several years ago. It's slim pickin's on this old computer.

I rarely go back to the comment section of a blog after I leave my comment, but I make an exception in your case because you are so FAITHFUL about responding to comments. You're a better person than I am and a better blogger:)
