You don’t have to shovel rain

It’s a rainy Friday. Over an inch of rain and wind gusts to 50 mph forecast for today. But the rain hasn’t dampened my mood.

From my window, I can see the Daffodils stretching through the ground. The Snow Drops are ready to burst into bloom.

I know Crocuses nestled under the fallen leaves are pushing through the soil.
And the hellebores must be quietly expanding their blooms in my absence.

Only 23 days to spring and I don’t have to shovel rain!

Oh, do I ever wish it was raining here. So much snow still on the ground around here.

Marie, would you please remind me to plant snow drops and hellebores? I can't for the life of me figure out why I don't have them.

Donna,
Snow piles remain here and there in PA. Warmer weather and rain make them smaller each day.

I love the snowdrops and hellebores. They get me in a gardening frame of mind and lift my mood in late winter.
