Plants I really NEED for 2009

.
Notice I didn’t say “want”.

I’ve been thinking about these plants for several years. I have more plants that I would like to have but these three have moved into the “really must have” category.

Tuberose

Casablanca lily

Daphne (Daphne burkwoodii)

.
I’m ready to shop!

All three beauties! I hope you "needs" are all met. I have a long wish list, with a very short amount of funds. I will be growing plants from seed in earnest this year.

Hi MG,

Yes, I agree garden funds are a real problem this year. I got the seeds free from Penn State Master Gardeners. They are last year's seeds but I'm sure they will still be viable.

I haven't found a source for the tuberose. Old House Gardens has a minimum $30 purchase. I'm still looking. I may find them at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Roberta's had them last year.

I hope the Cedar Fever is gone, gone, gone!
